OKI公司宣布在SP200推出市场十年后,正式宣布退出市场,由MFR-1100系列代替.

Metcal SP200 takes final bow after 10 years of distinguished performance.
Since arriving on the assembly and rework scene nearly 10 years ago, the Metcal SP200 Soldering System has been a trusted performer in factories all around the world. But technology marches on.

The OKi MFR-1100 Series Single Output Soldering and Rework System now provides not only the same SmartHeat® technology that made the SP200 famous for delivering the precise amount of energy required for each individual connection... but does so in an incredibly flexible format that features a wide choice of tools to support today’s new PCB and component technologies.

The MFR-1100 Series consists of 4 systems that increase user flexibility while satisfying most of today’s demanding application challenges:

MFR-1110: It accepts a comprehensive range of soldering and rework cartridges similar to those found in the popular Metcal range.
MFR-1120: It offers a tip hand-piece designed for production soldering.
MFR-1140: The Precision Tweezers hand-piece included in this system is ideal for SMD removal of 0201 resistors to 28 mm long SOIC’s.
MFR-1160: This recently released system has a new hand-piece which accepts the Metcal SSC cartridges used on the SP200.

其中的MFR-1160可以完全代替SP200,可以直接使用SSC系列的烙铁头.
